Jamie's Journeys is a travel blog with a geopolitical bent. The premise is simple: reading about places will only take you so far; the best way to understand the world is to move through it.
Based in London, I've spent the last few years working my way across Eurasia, with a particular obsession for frontier territories and battlegrounds of great power competition.
The blog is written in something close to real time — notes taken on the ground, posted shortly after. No itinerary guides, no sponsored content. Just the places, the history and whatever I happened to think about while I was there.
New posts go up as I travel. Leave your email to get notified, or follow along on Instagram.
